Many of our swatch book and pattern book clients were at Decorex this year.

This year the highlight of the interior design calendar, Decorex, was held at the stunning Syon Park in West London.

We were delighted to see so many of our clients exhibiting this year, and our swatch books, pattern books and wallpaper books were key tools for presenting textile and wallpaper collections to the tens of thousands of visitors who came to the show.

We regularly make short runs and special “editions” of our clients’ swatch books for them to exhibit at trade shows, and then follow this up with a larger run of our beautifully hand made pattern books and wallpaper books to be sent out to interior designers all over the world.

All of our clients, big and small, take Maison et Objet very seriously, whether as exhibitors at the January textiles show, scènes d’intérieur éditeurs, or as visitors drawing inspiration from the huge number of interior design suppliers exhibiting at this fantastic Paris show.

The inventive and dramatic displays showcase a wide range of luxury fabric producers, and with over 160,000 visitors, stands can get very busy.  Most stands display a large number of oversized pattern books for the thousands of visitors in addition to rows of hangers and finished display lengths for visitors to see and take note of.  Orders are taken on the stand for these swatch books (or wallpaper books), and after the show the fabric houses place their orders with us, which can run to the thousands for big companies.

We have a fast turnaround for orders big and small, so providing you with a small number of large books for a trade show like Maison et Objet and fulfilling your larger order after the show is an ideal way for us to work together.

September is one of the most important months of the year for many of our clients, as they will be at Syon Hill for the 2014 Decorex.  Decorex is the definitive trade show in the UK for the interiors industry, and several of our clients will be exhibiting their new collections to almost 30,000 visitors from all over the world.

Our pattern books, swatch books and wallpaper books are naturally key players at a show like this, where the standards are unrelentingly high. We spend the summer months creating the finest and most diverse handmade books for our clients to display their fabrics, wallpapers, passementeries and more at Decorex, and it is one of our greatest pleasures to visit Decorex and see so much of our work being examined by the show’s visitors.
